🚀 Journey & Start
Q1. How did you first get into iGaming art and design?
I have always been passionate about video games, and as a painter, pursuing a career as an artist in the video game industry felt like a natural path. Over time, I’ve grown into an experienced 2D Artist. Last year I also discovered the iGaming industry, which opened up new creative opportunities for me.
Q2. What was your first ever iGaming project, and what did you learn from it?
My first iGaming project was Mr. Sweet with Lady Luck Games. During that time, I gained valuable experience working closely with the art team and learning the iGaming workflow. It was a truly positive experience, made even smoother thanks to the support of great colleagues who helped me transition into the industry.
🎭 Creative Process & Inspiration
Q3. Can you walk us through your process when starting a new game art concept?
I believe that a strong concept is one of the most important foundations of any project. It needs to be fresh, creative, and stand out. I’m especially excited that narrative elements are becoming more present in iGaming, since I truly enjoy incorporating them. My process always starts with research during the ideation phase, as I find it crucial for building concepts that are both visually appealing and meaningful.
Q4. Where do you find your artistic inspiration for slot or bingo games?
I find inspiration everywhere — from everyday life and nature to movies, art, and even small details that others might overlook. I like to explore creative boundaries with my artwork as much as possible, even if sometimes it goes a bit beyond what’s needed. That creative drive is something I see reflected more and more in slot games today, and I’m excited to be part of that evolution.
🌍 Industry, Trends & AI
Q5. What’s the most challenging trend or style you’ve worked on recently?
The most challenging projects for me are usually those with very strict guidelines and limitations. While they can feel restrictive at first, they also push me to think more creatively within set boundaries. They can be demanding, but at the same time, those are often the projects where I end up learning the most — which makes the challenge worthwhile.
Q6. Which recent iGaming art trend do you think will dominate the next year?
I believe nostalgia will play a dominant role in iGaming art trends next year. Players are increasingly drawn to familiar themes that evoke a sense of comfort and connection, and I think this emotional appeal will shape many successful titles moving forward.
Q7. How does artificial intelligence help artists create art or animation?
Artificial intelligence can be a powerful tool for artists when used effectively and strategically. It can help speed up certain parts of the creative process, assist with generating ideas, or streamline repetitive tasks, allowing artists to focus more on the creative and conceptual aspects of their work. When integrated appropriately, AI can complement traditional workflows.
🎮☕ Quick Fun Round
Q8. Favorite game theme you’ve worked on?
It’s hard to choose, but one of my favorites was a D&D-inspired world of warriors and wizards — with a twist: they were all represented as food rather than people. This was for the project Silverplate, and it was truly one of the most fun and creatively rewarding experiences I’ve had in years.
Q9. One iGaming art style you wish would come back?
I’m curious to see how the art from the very first slot machines would translate to modern screens, perhaps with a fresh twist. Revisiting that classic style could bring a unique blend of nostalgia and innovation to contemporary iGaming titles.
Q10. Coffee or energy drinks when working late?
I usually stick to coffee when working late — it helps me stay focused and energized without overcomplicating things.
Q11. Dream collaboration in the iGaming world?
A dream collaboration for me would be with Peter & Sons — I would love the opportunity to work with their team.
✨ Wrap-Up
Q12. Final tip for aspiring iGaming artists?
If you’re driven by a passion for art, iGaming offers the perfect space to grow and create. Stay curious, push your creative boundaries, and enjoy the process of bringing ideas to life.
Q13. Where can people follow your work?
