LinkedIn →❓ Can you tell us about your journey and how Jumping Play came into existence?
📝 My journey in the iGaming industry began in 2018, and within a very short time, I realised this is where I truly belong. The pace, the innovation, the constant challenges, and the creativity required in this industry resonated deeply with me. I’ve always been someone who thrives in dynamic environments, and iGaming gave me exactly that blend of excitement and purpose in my daily work.
After spending a few months in my first iGaming role, I discovered two things very clearly:
1. There was a huge gap in quality, reliability, and talent in the outsourcing ecosystem.
2. I had the passion and leadership mindset to build something of my own.
That’s when the idea of Jumping Play Studio was born. Instead of waiting years, I took the leap early in my career, fueled by confidence, industry understanding, and a vision to create a studio that could deliver world-class content with consistency.
Starting from scratch in 2018, I built Jumping Play brick by brick, setting up the right processes, bringing in strong talent, and ensuring we always stay ahead of the curve. Today, we are proud to work with top global iGaming clients, and the studio continues to grow with the same passion and agility that inspired its creation.
❓ What’s the core vision or creative philosophy that drives Jumping Play’s approach to game design and development?
📝 At the heart of Jumping Play’s philosophy is curiosity, creativity, and a constant desire to explore beyond boundaries. I have always been fascinated by how the world works outside India, different cultures, mindsets, work styles, and creative expressions. iGaming became the perfect bridge for that curiosity. It allowed me to connect with global teams, understand international standards, and bring that diversity of thought back into our studio culture.
Since childhood, I’ve had a strong desire to create something uniquely my own—to build something that reflects my identity, my imagination, and my aspirations. I always dreamed of doing work that brings both recognition and impact. Jumping Play became the canvas for that dream.
Our core vision at Jumping Play is simple yet powerful: to combine creativity with strategic insight and deliver world-class gaming experiences that stand out.
We believe great games are born from original ideas, strong storytelling, and a solid
understanding of player psychology. That’s why we encourage open conversations, idea-sharing, and innovation within the team. I work closely with my business partner and our creative leads to shape concepts, challenge usual thinking, and push boundaries.
What drives us is not just developing games, but creating experiences that leave a mark. Whether it’s art, animation, gameplay, or design, our approach is rooted in authentic city, innovation, and global quality benchmarks. This philosophy has helped Jumping Play grow into a studio where creativity is not just encouraged, it’s the foundation of everything we do.
❓ How do you keep your team motivated and aligned when working across multiple creative and technical projects?
✨ 📝 At Jumping Play, alignment starts with clarity of vision and culture:
As a service-based studio, we are mentally prepared and structured to work across diverse projects, genres, and client expectations. We see this diversity not as a challenge, but as our core strength and uniqueness.
We keep our teams motivated by ensuring everyone understands the “why” behind each project and how their contribution directly impacts both the client’s success and our studio’s reputation.
Clear communication, defined ownership, and realistic timelines help us stay aligned even when projects run in parallel.
Collaboration is part of our DNA.
Our motto is simple: everyone supports each other. Designers, developers, artists, QA, and product teams work as one unit, not in silos. We actively encourage cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing so teams grow together rather than compete internally.
Diversity and inclusion are not policies for us, they’re natural behaviours.
We work with people from different backgrounds, mindsets, and skill sets, and that diversity fuels creativity and innovation. We make sure every voice is heard, respected, and valued, which builds trust and long-term motivation.
Finally, we balance high performance with empathy. Regular check-ins, appreciation for effort— not just results—and the freedom to experiment creatively keep the team engaged, resilient, and aligned, even in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
❓ What trends or changes in the gaming industry are currently exciting you the most?
📝 What excites me most in the gaming industry today is the shift from being purely content-driven to experience-driven. Games are no longer just standalone products; they are becoming living platforms built around player engagement, community, and long-term interaction.
We are seeing strong momentum in new game formats and mechanics that prioritise
accessibility and engagement from fast-paced casual and hybrid-casual games to live-service models that continuously evolve based on player behaviour. This reflects a deeper understanding of how modern players consume entertainment, especially across mobile and cross-platform environments.
Another significant change is the industry’s growing emphasis on player trust, safety, and ethical design. Topics such as fair play, data privacy, and responsible engagement are now central to product strategy rather than afterthoughts. This maturity is essential as gaming continues to reach wider and more diverse audiences globally.
I’m also excited by how localisation and cultural relevance are shaping success. Games that respect regional preferences, storytelling styles, and community dynamics are outperforming one-size-fits-all approaches. This trend is opening doors for studios from emerging markets to compete on a global stage.
Overall, the gaming industry is entering a phase where innovation is defined not just by technology, but by how thoughtfully we design experiences that players trust, enjoy, and return to over me.
❓ AI is rapidly evolving. How do you see it shaping the future of game design and development?
📝 AI is becoming part of the broader game development environment, but its role should be viewed in a balanced and practical way. It is not redefining creativity or replacing human decision-making in game design. At best, it serves as a supporting tool that can assist with efficiency, analysis, and refinement during certain stages of development.
From a studio perspective, AI can help streamline specific processes such as testing, balancing, or understanding player behaviour, but the core of game design relies on human insight, creativity, and experience. Strong gameplay, storytelling, and emotional engagement cannot be automated.
It is also important to approach AI with caution. Questions around ethics, data usage, originality, and player trust remain critical, and these considerations should guide how and where AI is applied. Not every project or studio benefits equally from its use.
Overall, AI should be treated as an optional and carefully managed part of the development toolkit, useful in some areas, unnecessary in others. The future of game design will continue to be shaped primarily by creative vision, though user design choices, and a clear understanding of players, rather than by technology alone.
❓ What are your thoughts on iGamity and its mission to bring together studios, artists, and creators through collaboration and shared learning?
📝 Platforms like iGamity play an important role in strengthening the gaming ecosystem. The Industry moves forward faster when studios, artists, and creators work together and learn from one another instead of operating in silos.
What stands out to me is the focus on collaboration and shared learning. Creative talent develops through exposure, honest feedback, and real conversations across disciplines, not just within individual studios. When creators understand industry expectations early, the overall quality of work improves.
That said, the impact of any community platform depends on execution. It needs to stay practical, relevant, and grounded in real industry needs. Meaningful engagement matters more than scale or visibility.
Overall, iGamity is aligned with where the industry needs to go toward stronger collaboration, better talent development, and a more connected creative community. If it remains focused on substance over noise, it can create lasting value.
